I’m an award-winning reality television producer, director, and editor, as well as a novelist and a documentary filmmaker. Most of all, I love helping people with their creative projects so their careers can blossom. My passion for teaching began in high school when I taught swimming to both children and adults, and I coached a swim team.
My family is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. We left Canada when I was six, and I grew up in San Francisco. I graduated from Lick-Wilmerding High School and then attended UC Berkeley, where I earned two Bachelor degrees, in English and Cellular Biology. I worked at KQED, the local PBS station, learning how to produce documentaries with some of the best filmmakers in the Bay Area. I then attended UCLA Film School, where I earned a Masters in Fine Arts in Film and Television Production.
I live in Studio City, California, with my wife and business partner, Robin Berlin, and our daughter, Lily.
My wife Robin and I started Intersection Productions in 2000. Bull’s Eye Content Consulting is a division of Intersection Productions, Inc. You can find my writing at Intersectionproductions.com.
